OFA is working closely with Frederick County's Democratic Central Committee in all our campaign efforts. Also, we are developing teams in Washington, Allegany and Garrett counties.

OFA-Frederick County, Maryland, is a group of volunteers, mostly Democrats plus some Independents, working to see that our friends and neighbors are well informed about the most pressing political, economic and social issues of the day. And to campaign for Democratic candidates.


OFA stands for Obama for America. We are the volunteer arm of President Obama's re-election campaign.

 

Our Frederick County unit is the first to be organized in the Western Maryland region. We are working to establish similar volunteer networks in Washington, Allegany and Garrett counties. The four western counties constitute one region of the Maryland OFA organization.

We support the president's policies and programs for America, although as individuals some of us may disagree on points here and there. But despite those relatively minor differences, we all believe that by working together, we can help move the United States toward "a more perfect union."
